Chop Wood, Carry Arizona 3/18
Hi Arizona!
It’s been a minute since we’ve had things to share for your state and I hope you’re all hanging in there. It’s almost spring - such a beautiful season in Arizona for the outdoors. We are here with some news and action to make sure you get to keep enjoying Arizona’s great lands.
Join the Arizona Rally for Public Lands on March 27 at the Arizona State Capitol! Get FREE tickets here!
Arizonans are united in their love for Public Lands and Waters.
But special interests, seeking short-term profits, are working behind the scenes to make it easier to sell our public resources to the highest bidder.
Arizonans are uniting to fight back. Defending our American freedoms to hike, bike, horseback ride, camp, connect, worship, hunt and fish is more urgent than ever. We need to speak up to protect it.
Arizonans from across the state are gathering at the 2025 Arizona Rally for Public Lands to call on every elected official – from Phoenix to Washington, D.C. – to protect our access, wildlife, public workforce, and keep our public lands and waters in public hands.
And be sure to spread the word and tell your friends and neighbors, fellow hikers and campers who would care a lot about this if they were aware of it.
Until next time,
Jess (and Andrea who helps with state newsletters)

Bernie and AOC are speaking in Tucson Saturday 22 March at Catalina high school. See ya' there.
We have a special election coming up in Arizona’s congressional district 7. Does anyone know who is organizing around this?
