🚨 Postcard writers needed ASAP! 🚨

Hey, all!

OK, remember a few weeks ago when I wrote you about the AZ state legislative race we needed to raise funds for urgently because the original candidate dropped out and we have a write-in candidate? You guys came through brilliantly and we raised the money we needed to—whooo!

Now I need your help with that race again—this time by writing postcards!

As you likely know, AZ early voting has begun - so Markers For Democracy, the group organizing this effort, is working hard to get through a list of voters we need to inform about the write-in candidate.  If people can help get these cards out this weekend, it would be a big help. You do need to supply your own cards for this effort!

A bit of background in case you’re new to this list:

States Project Endorsed Eva Diaz - AZ LD22 (The Write-In Candidate)

The original Democratic candidate for this race, who was running unopposed, withdrew to take a high-paying job lobbying for a utility.  It is too late to replace him on the ballot & votes for him will not count.  The winning candidate will be a write-in. Republicans sense an opportunity to grab a Senate seat in this blue district.  Of course, AZ Democrats had been counting on this seat in the strategy to flip the AZ State Senate & boost turnout up ballot for statewide candidates.  Early voting has started in Arizona.  This district happens to vote on the late side or on Election Day.  Please join us in helping AZ Dems write in Eva Diaz & make their votes for State Senate count!

The program:  Use your own (neutral or voting-related) postcards. Addresses distributed by email. Mail postcards as soon as completed after receiving the addresses.
