The amazing folks at Markers For Democracy are writing for two candidates for Deer Valley School Board, Maricopa County, AZ. SCHOOL BOARD RACES ARE SO IMPORTANT!

STEVE BOTTFELD & JULIE STOCKWELL - Deer Valley School Board, Maricopa County, AZ
Right wing extremists are trying to starve AZ's public schools of money and shift hundreds of millions of dollars to voucher programs. Steve & Julie are running to protect Deer Valley's schools from these extremists and responsibly plan for the influx of new students that will arise from the 16,000 new homes being built in the district. Independent voters are 34% of the electorate in this district. We will be writing to Independent voters with Democratic-leaning values.
This down-ballot postcard is high impact. Suppose these voters with Democratic values get to the polls. In that case, those who live in AZ LD2 (about 55-60%) will vote up the ballot for LD2 State House/States Project candidate Stephanie Simacek, and in the statewide races of Ruben Gallego for U.S. Senate and Joe Biden for President.

As you wrote, school board races are critical on their own, but this district happens to be nested in one of the (hopefully) flippable AZ state house districts that could lead the way to a Democratic trifecta.
