Y’all, I’m sure you’ve heard about the pre-statehood abortion law that just came into effect in Arizona. It’s insane. If you don’t know about it I made a quick video explaining it here (although I think I got the year wrong—in my haste to make the video I said it was a 1901 law—turns out it’s from 1864.)

BREAKING: Abortion is now *illegal* in the state of Arizona. No exceptions for rape or incest. Providers will be jailed for 2-5 years. A judge just sent AZ back to 1901. 🤦‍♀️ The GOP is DELIGHTED with this decision. 😡 Vote. Them. Out. #MobilizeForMidterms

Anyway, we must, must, must win in Arizona. And Mission to Arizona now has phonebanks several times a week. They need more volunteers. They have a dialer! They will train you!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: I know no one wants to call strangers. But the stakes are SO HIGH, y’all. The discomfort of calling voters seems nothing compared to the misery being inflicted on uterus-owners who can no longer access basic healthcare in AZ—even in the case of rape or incest.
